In depth

Verdict

Lisloran rallied to beat Ardera Cross, who was seeking a seventh course victory, here last month but the runner-up is 2lb better off. THE ELECTRICIAN and Caboy were both unplaced but Mike Smith’s charge definitely needed the run that day and it would be no surprise to see a different result today. Castlegrange was well behind when Sputnik won here in October but the latter pulled up at Newcastle next time and is held by the selection on Hexham running in the spring. Without Conviction should do better back over fences and Warriors Story has more scope over the larger obstacles than most of these.
