Verdict

Jim Goldie is mob-handed with six runners though Carlisle winner American Affair was due to run here yesterday, as was Sir Maxi. The former’s stablemates Yaaser and B Associates are recent winners over 7f while Jordan Electrics and Rock Melody have both won over the minimum trip this year. Ascot Adventure is another dropping down in distance but David O’Meara’s other runner COLD STARE went close to ending a long losing run at Doncaster last time and may finally have fallen far enough down the weights to get his head back in front. Asadjumeirah has also tumbled down the handicap and Ghathanfar is back on a winning mark while Little Muddy won here back in May. Novak was in winning form here early in the year and the three-year-old Harry's Halo remains unexposed but 2019 winner Music Society is a rare winner nowadays.
