Goldhill Prince can beat Mytton's Dream in what appears to be a match on paper, with only the newcomer Tonight an unknown quantity. Bill Turner does not send his horses on the long haul up from Devon to the west coast of Scotland for the sea air, and it will be a surprise if Goldhill Pride does not prove up to the task. The son of Prince Sabo came good in similar company at Ripon six days ago when he was pushed out by Colin Haddon to account for the favourite Stan's Girl. That was an improvement on his four previous efforts, helped no doubt by the fast ground and step up in trip. This company is no better, Mytonn's Dream apart, and a follow-up is very much on the cards. The latter was giving the owner his first success in a year when scoring at Beverley on Tuesday and shaped there as though he will appreciate this extra furlong. He can make a race of it at least and unless Tonight is anything better than plating class, should provide the forecast. For the winner though we return to Goldhill Prince.
