        Verdict

        A very moderate handicap for punters to puzzle through. Clarinch Claymore won a recent amateurs race under Nicky Tinkler but that was on a soft surface. Any cut in the ground will assist but he is hardly value at such short odds. Spree Vision also has course and distance form to his name but again, a softer surface will be required to see him at his best. Major Attraction makes the long journey up from Shropshire and has to be given a decent chance. He was disappointing last time out but should relish the conditions and the Brisbourne yard are in good form at present. Diamond Joshua could go well at big odds. He was in great form over timber last winter but he is off a very lowly mark on the level and John Berry had a winner earlier in the week.
