      Verdict

      Politbureau has gone close on a couple of subsequent occasions after winning over 1m7f here in May but has been raised a further 2lb. Preference goes to VICKY VALENTINE as Alistair Whillans' mare also won here in May and was beaten only a length off today's mark over track and trip a week ago by Wor Lass. The latter is penalised for that win but should confirm running with third-placed Eilean Mor and finish thereabouts once again. The remaining trio all arrive out of form and are hard to recommend.
