Verdict

Six line up but it is in effect a match between Introducing and Ettrick Water, with the former taken to give Barry Hills a quick double on the card. Introducing, owned by Khalid Abdulla, created a favourable impression when staying on well on her Leicester debut last year. It is a little surprising to see the stoutly bred filly kept to seven furlongs, but in receipt of a stone from Ettrick Water, she should be good enough judged on latest news from the gallops. Ettrick Water has taken on good company in the past and he too has shaped as likely to win a middle distance race but drops back here. Their four opponents have little to offer though and, if as expected they take each other on, Introducing should make the most of her allowances.
