Verdict

Miss Brookie has been a consistent performer in similar company this term but even in receipt to weight, may struggle to get the better of Burkees Graw, who gets the vote over Backofthenet. Burkees Graw showed improved form when headed on the line by Back At De Front in a decent seller at York last week. That was over six furlongs and, with the drop back to the minimum trip likely to suit, the David Nicholls-trained colt looks the one to be one. Backofthenet has to be respected on his last time out second to Short Chorus at Beverley where Miss Brookie, who re-opposes on the same terms, was half-a-length back in third place. Loveisdangerous and Romeo Tias make limited appeal.
