In depth

Verdict

A weak novice event, in which Gofagold is the best horse on official BHB figures. He possessed decent northern novice form before making an unsuccessful transition to fences. There is however, a major doubt about the horse's ability to handle the surface on this occasion. A chance is therefore taken with Carapuce. Lenny Lungo's representative has been crying out for a much longer trip of late and while we feel that three miles will be the making of him, this weak race over 2m 4f is there for the taking. Tullimoss is a long-standing maiden. The Fife based runner hasn't had too far to travel but looks sure to find one too good again. Sting Like A Bee finally got off the mark for new connections in plating class last time out. He certainly travels well in his races but does not look one to trust implicitly in a finish. Safe Shot is exposed as selling class whereas Pachinco is watched in the market following absence. In a race of many questions, Carapuce is taken to provide the answers.
