          Verdict

          A very competitive handicap here with a slight TEAMtalk preference going to the potentially well handicapped Al Azhar who handles the ground, goes well fresh and has run up to his best at this track. Joe Fanning who rode him to victory in June is reunited with the eight-year-old and a solid run is expected from his in-form trainer. Dancing Phantom finished second in this race last year and has the same pilot aboard today but he faces a tougher task off a pound higher mark. In Disguise has shown form on an easy surface and is lightly-raced enough to improve on some recent good runs. He is the main danger to the selection. Prospects Of Glory has some decent form of late but has yet to prove himself on a soft surface. Collier Hill, although a tough sort, looks in the handicapper's grip now. Factor Fifteen looks to be on a handy mark and this lightly-raced colt won well at Newcastle last time out. Nowell House has the best form on a soft surface in this race but injured himself last time out and may be best watched today although anything is possible from Mick Easterby's stable.
