Verdict

LOSSIEMOUTH won two of three starts in bumpers last season and lost a shoe when fifth at Aintree on last month’s hurdling bow. Tom Lacey’s charge may prove good enough in this with improvement looking likely. Skiddaw Tara was less than fluent at Carlisle on his first start over timber while Shaws Bridge makes his hurdling debut having only his second outing for Gordon Elliott’s powerful yard. Rath An Iuir debuts under Rules having between the flags back in 2017 while Whateva Next is preferred to Victory Echo and Scullys Forge of the other point-to-point winners.
