      Verdict

      FINAL ASSAULT went close to making a winning comeback when beaten only a length at Wetherby last month. He is just preferred to Presented, second at Cartmel 10 days ago and racing off the same mark today. Plus Jamais also has a shout on his recent placed effort over a shorter trip here while Chavoy scored over a longer distance at the track in February and is 7lb higher for this. Un Noble was placed in a novice handicap here recently is preferred to Alpha Victor of the remainder.
