Verdict

Rio Deva sets out to complete a quickfire hat-trick having followed up a Catterick success with a game win at Hamilton on Saturday night. She has displayed a resilient attitude on both starts, fending off challengers having set out to make all and is clearly in great heart. However, EMERALD ASSET has found some form the last twice and was noted staying on well at the end of a Pontefract sprint last week in Class 5 company. He's back down a level here and should go close, especially if Graham Lee can get him to travel that bit closer to the pace. Reflation only went down narrowly here recently and has claims on that improved showing whilst Star Cracker has been contesting much better races than this so far this term and must be respected at this level despite the concession of weight to all rivals.
