Verdict

It was soft ground when KENNY THE CAPTAIN finished a close-up fourth over track and trip last month. He can race off the same mark today and dropping down in class so Tim Easterby's charge gets the nod. False Witness has a shout on his handicap debut but Arabda looks a bigger threat as she's been competing in better company since winning her maiden at Catterick back in May. Neighbother and Straits Of Malacca have both won over 5f with the former preferred having slipped 10lb down the weights since scoring at Warwick early in the season.
