Not A Bad Oul Day had dropped to a tempting mark when ending a long losing spell at Gowran and is one of the few arriving in form but he has a massive 14lb rise to contend with here. In Focus is moderate but has still managed to win five times and ran quite well at Catterick last month. NEW ABBEY ANGEL has only won on the all-weather but came close to breaking his Turf duck at Musselburgh last week. He's suited by the trip and ground and his yard is in form so he looks the safest option. Irish raider Duncan Of Scotland was engaged here yesterday so that run should be monitored as he now looks on an inviting mark but Joyful Star, who would have a chance on his victory here last summer, hasn't been seen since September.
