Verdict

In this Classified Stakes race, Barking Mad is selected ahead of On Every Street. The selection can be a bit in-and-out but has solid enough form at this level and could well be able to dictate matters in this four-runner affair. As such, he gets the nod. He also holds a clear chance on ratings, as does the Mark Johnston-trained Mbosi, who had looked promising prior to flopping at Doncaster last time, which means the jury is out on him for now. Bessemer has yet to progress from a juvenile win but at least is having his rating lowered now, while On Every Street improved to score at Warwick last time but will need to keep that improvement going. This returns us, once again, to the selection, which is Barking Mad.
