Verdict

Im Too Generous created a major surprise when scoring at Musselburgh in late March, having pulled up on his previous two starts. The nine-year-old had been off the track for nearly four years until this year so that victory represented a high-class training performance by Rebecca Menzies. The gelding has been upped 8lb for that win but has every chance in a modest-looking contest if repeating the level of that Scottish success. Le Braye, Black Spot On and Top Of The Charts comprise a strong Irish raid but this may be the day when RUBYTWO finally receives reward for her undoubted consistency, especially when the 7lb claim of Danny McMenamin is factored into the equation. A return to this trip should also aid her chances further.
