Having had a good season over fences last term top weight Wise Man is potentially well treated on his return to hurdles but preference is for Like A Lord who gets the vote over L'Oiseau. The selection was unfortunate to come up against a rejuvenated Liberman at Market Rasen in September and lost no caste in defeat behind a couple of useful novices at Bangor subsequently. Sue Smith's gelding looks well treated back in a handicap today and gets the vote to gain a deserved first success. Spree Vision is a consistent performer but has been done few favours by the handicapper and of more interest may be L'Oiseau. Len Lungo's gelding should be spot on after a couple of outings and he has to be respected. Cha Cha Dancer showed enough at Sedgefield last time to suggest that he could be of interest, while Sports Express represents the in-form stable of Lucinda Russell and has dropped to a fair mark. Cake It Easy has had a recent outing on the flat so fitness should not be a problem for Keith Reveley's gelding and is another to consider but Like A Lord has an obvious chance and gets the vote.
