In depth

Verdict

Trouble In Paris has had 28 starts without winning and though finishing runner-up at Hexham he was beaten a long way. Brian Hughes has some good rides today and TITIAN BOY is another of them. He was on board when he gained a facile victory over the course and distance last month, when Orioninverness fell at the third last and King Of The Dark departed when struggling, and though hit with a massive 15lb rise he'll probably turn out to be better than a 95-rated handicapper. Sky Full Of Stars went to Sedgefield with a favourite's chance after an excellent run at Kelso but ran a shocker so he'll need to bounce back but Apache Pilot found 3m2f much too far at Sedgefield and is just 1lb higher than his victory over this trip at Hexham in June.
