Verdict

Ginger Mail won this a year ago and continued to run well before a very poor effort at Perth in April which wasn't his form. Transatlantic scored on the Flat in France and has changed stables since landing a Huntingdon novices' hurdle in Aprill last year. SLEEPING SATELLITE, a winning point-to-pointer, bumper and hurdler, didn't appear to handle heavy ground at Newcastle and can land this providing the going doesn't deteriorate. Brian Hughes is on board rather than Rock Hurley, who had some smart form in France. Park Annonciade disappointed on testing ground at Perth so wouldn't want any more rain while Fenna's Loss has produced his best form on good going.
