LOCHNELL (NAP) went up 8lb for landing a course and distance handicap in November but it didn't prevent a big run in a better event at Doncaster on ground quicker than she would have liked so she can get back on the winning trail. Turtle Cask, who finished just over four lengths behind, started favourite at Hexham next time but couldn't handle the very heavy conditions. Bertalus has won over the track and trip on testing ground but has been in poor form while Rowdy Rocher will probably be back over fences soon. Rocklim scored over this trip at Musselburgh in February and looked on the way back to form at Wetherby last time while Transient Bay was in fine form around this time a year ago and was returning from a long absence when pulled up at Uttoxeter. Plus Jamais is much better known as a chaser these days but likes this track and would be a threat if the ground turned heavy.
