Both Heartbreak Kid and Dino Velvet ran below par behind DUBAI DAYS when the latter scored at Kelso last month. Neil Alexander’s charge also won over these fences at the end of last year and can defy a 3lb rise. Lermoos Legend has won four of five starts over fences since fitted with cheekpieces though is 10lb higher than when successful at Cartmel last summer but The Mouse Doctor is unexposed over fences and slips further down the weights.
Heartbreak Kid (IRE) 7-1 (11-3) Chased leaders out wide, ridden and weakened before omitted 2 out, last of 6, 35 1/2l behind Dubai Days (10-6) at Kelso 2m 1f hcp (3) sft in Mar.

Dubai Days (IRE) 3-1 (10-6) Bit keen, waited with in last pair, closer at 3rd, went 2nd before 8th (normal 3 out), led on bit bypassing omitted 2 out, stayed on well (both fences in home straight omitted due to low sun, 8 fences on circuit jumped), won at Kelso 2m 1f hcp (3) sft in Mar beating Hardy Du Seuil (11-8) by 2 1/2l, 6 ran.
