        Verdict

        L'autonomie has only been beaten once in her last seven starts and has won eight times in total but she’s trying a new trip today and is no certainty to stay. At the likely odds, PAUL’S SAGA makes more appeal. She was given plenty to do behind Galop Marin in the Grade 1 Grand Prix d'Automne here in November and had won a Grade 3 and a Grade 2 here either side of that defeat. Though no better off with the winner, a more positive ride could see the placings reversed and she holds Bergerac and Berjou on that form. Cotee Sud has six lengths to find with L'autonomie on Prix Juigne form but did finish ahead of Galop Marin and Berjou that day but Enjeu D'arthel is better over fences nowadays.
