In depth

Verdict

Only a quarter of these have raced previously, with Looksharp Lad, Random Precision and Historic Place all having shown a similar level of form but the chances are that this may go to one of the unraced runners and the vote goes to Supreme Return. Alan King's gelding is by Bob's Return out of a Supreme Leader mare and, with the stable in good form and more than capable of producing a horse ready first time out, he looks worth a small investment. Jonjo O'Neill's Baganite obviously warrants respect but may need more time. Noel Chance's Dans Pride, Henrietta Knight's Kicasso, Paul Keane's Le Turk, Nick Gifford's Senor Sedona and the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Tates Avenue are others to consider but, in a difficult contest where there is little form to go on, the vote goes to Supreme Return.
