Verdict

Enhancer is taken to produce a shock with Piran and Cloudy Grey the most obvious alternatives. Fast ground has always been the key to Enhancer and while Pirate Flagship let down the form of his debut effort over the larger obstacles, he is taken to be good enough to make his presence felt at this level. Piran is in receipt of all the allowances. It is somewhat surprising to see him dropped in trip on this occasion as he stayed three miles over hurdles, there is every chance he could get tapped for toe around here. Cloudy Grey has always been held in some regard by the Emma Lavelle stable and looks an obvious candidate for chases. Unproven on the surface, it could be prudent to look elsewhere on this occasion. Amid The Chaos had ability in Ireland when racing in the Michael Smurfit colours but he has looked a light of his former self these days. Time To Shine has been highly tried in the past with little in the way of success. With conditions in his favour, Enhancer gets the nod.
