Verdict

FIERY LAD faces a demanding task at the weights but really impressed when swooping late and fast to gather in A Boy Named Suzi in a hot Epsom handicap on Derby Day and Luca Cumani inmates usually sustain their progress once they strike form. There's an obvious threat lurking at the foot of the weights in the sole three-year-old, Scatter Dice, who has been in progressively impressive form throughout the campaign, with a another good effort anticipated now off this mark. John Louis is another in-form candidate and it would be folly to omit him from calculations with the McBride charge in such good heart at present.
