Verdict

CITYSCAPE is the pick with Minor Vamp and Abbeyside respected as dangers. There are many imponderables in this race with fitness being one of the major ones on many accounts. Tried at Group level last term, Cityscape ran solidly in a big handicap at Newbury earlier in the month under a big weight and should have come on for that experience. Minor Vamp was impressive when landing the Goffs Million in 2008. She hasn't been seen since then but there is enough in her pedigree to suggest that there would have been a fair chance of her training on. Abbeyside is in a similar position as having won at Listed level in France; she narrowly was outpointed in Group 3 level before missing in excess of a season off. King Of Dixie seems to appreciate small fields and fast ground so has positives on both scores today. Nasri has been placed at listed level though needs to improve in order to assume pole position. With matchfitness assured, Cityscape is the suggestion.
