Verdict

Finders Keepers may be up to defying topweight over the likes of Muy Bien, Epaminondas, and Out After Dark. Ed Dunlop's charge came good at Musselburgh recently, having had a couple of sweeteners at Lingfield to get him ready. Although it was only an ordinary maiden, he should find a bit more improvement and is selected to score despite the drop back in trip. Muy Bien is more experienced and indeed was ridden to victory by Frankie Dettori at Windsor three weeks ago. With hindsight he was probably turned out too quickly when beaten two days later at Warwick and should go well. Epaminondas showed enough as a juvenile to make the grade this year and he does not look overburdened for his handicap debut. He will be fancied then along with Out After Dark who is another returning to the fray. Stormy Nature shaped well at Kempton, showing plenty of speed and makes some appeal as well, but in what is a fairly tricky opener, Finders Keepers is taken to land the spoils.
