Verdict

This does not look to be the most competitive of classifies stakes race and a confident vote goes to the unexposed Odabella's Charm, who should be too good for her main rivals Able Baker Charlie and Reyadi. The last mentioned is just about held by the selection on a line through Moarban, who Sir Michael Stoute's filly beat when making a belated winning debut at Windsor in June. An absence since should not be a problem for the daughter of Cadeaux Genereux, who can take advantage of what looks a lenient rating (Moarban was rated 80 when well held at Windsor and has run to a similar level of form since). Reyadi, who had Mick Channon's colt a length adrift when winning at Haydock last time is entitled to be thereabouts but has less scope than the selection. Able Baker Charlie won with more in hand than the winning margin would suggest at Newbury on his most recent start and could be interesting but does have to give weight away all round along with Commanding, who has shown very little in three starts this term. Of more interest could be Marcus Tregoning's Alrabab, who made a winning debut at Sandown earlier this month but we are happy to side with Odabella's Charm and Kieren Fallon.
