      Verdict

Nothing in the line-up to scare potential superstar FRANKEL. Named after Bobby Frankel, the late American trainer who did so well for owner Prince Khalid Abdullah, it was always likely that this Galileo colt would be high-class. Just how good he may be might not even be answered by a win today but he slammed a 90-rated rival at Doncaster and the return to a mile won't cause any concern. Eskimo tries a tongue-tie as he steps up to a mile for the first time, but with his dam being a sprinter it probably won't bring about enough improvement to win, and a bigger threat looks to be stablemate Treasure Beach who was unlucky in-running at Listowel but this is a big step up in class. The stable have won two of the last four runnings mind you. Klammer was awarded the race at Deauville last month but he probably lacks the class to take this, a comment that also applies to Slim Shadey despite some solid sales race form. The fly in the ointment might be Happy Today, a close relation of Zafeen, who has all the big race entries in October and who has the potential to be anything after scraping home at Bath.
