In depth

Verdict

This provides Godolphin with another chance to bolster their haul of Ascot prize-money, as Mansfield Park arrives her with the correct profile to get the better of Tarfah and Moon Dazzle, who just top the list of dangers. Bubbling under are: Brindisi, who is closely matched with the last mentioned filly and should again run her race. Whereas Soldera has claims on her Windsor Forest Stakes effort over course and distance from earlier in the season, but faces no easy task off top weight. Three Secrets is another to throw into the mix, as she is an improving sort that has not been over faced with her exploits this term. She stayed the trip well at Sandown and she makes plenty of appeal for an each-way play. However, Mansfield Park just edges the vote as the one that is open to the most improvement. Godolphin have been very patient with her and she will be very hard to master if she conjures up only a slightly better effort than the one we witnessed from her reappearance at the start of this month.
