Verdict

Hassle is fit from hurdling but was a well beaten runner-up in last year's renewal. Purple Spectrum returned to winning ways back over 2m at Kempton last time and makes more appeal than High Secret, upped in class after scoring at Catterick. Seamour was sent off favourite for the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle and is looking to make amends after finishing behind Quest For More. But collateral form with the latter brings LE MAITRE CHAT into the equation and Clive Cox' charge gets the nod having gone close when third at York earlier in the month. The veteran Times Up continues to struggle but Rite To Reign is weighted to reverse earlier running with Seamour and Buckland could go well at a price.
