Verdict

ALBAASIL was so stylish in running away from 12 rivals in a competitive handicap on the final day of Newmarket's July meeting. He looks destined for Group company any time soon but this is a decent prize worth taking en route to better things. The concern is the ground as all three outings have been on good to firm ground but hopefully he'll handle easier conditions. My Freedom looms as a threat after being nabbed on the post in another hot handicap from the July meeting. He travelled really well through the race before still looking inexperienced late on. However, it remains a very good effort for which he is up 4lb. Andrew Balding is double-handed with Stage Attraction looking his best hope as he seeks a hat-trick off a fair mark. Rave and Mariachi Man are on the upgrade but look too close to the selection in the weights.
