Verdict

There may be only seven runners for this Group one event, but is is a top class line up for this renewal. David Junior is the one that gets our nomination, with Electrocutionist, Manuro and Ouija Board all capable of making it a tough challenge. Brian Meehan's stable star confirmed his well being with victory in the Dubai Duty Free in March. This of course followed an excellent campaign last season, which included a brave victory in the Champion Stakes at Newmarket. His trainer reports him in top form and this gutsy performer will be hard to beat. Electrocutionist landed the Juddmonte at York last term and has landed two races at Nad Al Sheba in very good style. If the Godolphin horses are back to their best he will pose a big threat. French raider Manduro was just pipped in the Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp last month and this improving colt should not be underestimated. Finally we must mention the Queen Of The Turf Ouija Board who looked back to her best in the Coronation Cup at Epsom and will never go down without a fight. This is certainly a race to savor and we think David Junior could be the one to land first prize
