Verdict

Banks Hill looks the one to be with. The winner of last years Coronation Stakes, the filly is at least as good over this trip and the drying ground will also be a help. She is taken to reverse the form with Poussin, who finished just in front of her, when they were both chasing Best Of Bests at Lonchamp. That was a slowly run event, but there should be plenty of pace on here, which will bring out the best in Banks Hill. Both Indian Creek, who flopped in soft ground last time, but will be well suited to the drying surface and Grandera, are both progressive. Nayef and Bach look sure to be involved, but they may both prefer more give underfoot. The interesting one though is Desert Deer, who could be absolutely anything. He demolished a fair field at Newmarket and left the impression there was much more too come. This is by far his stiffest task to date, but he is taken to provide the fillies main danger.
