Verdict

PRESENT MAN won at Wincanton last month with subsequent dual winner Gentleman Jon back in third but got no further than the second fence back at the same track last time when unseating. Paul Nicholl’s charge gets another chance to defy a 7lb rise for his earlier win. Rothman was placed at Fontwell last month but is upped in class while Go Conquer and Wings Attract ended last season with victories but return to action off 10lb and 6lb higher marks respectively. Cadoudoff was still in contention when coming a cropper at Newbury on his return and is preferred to Fox Appeal and The Clock Leary.
