Await The Dawn is likely to start a deserved favourite on the back of his eye-catching victory in the Group 3 Huxley at Chester last month. Given he's won on soft going, there's no doubting he's the one to beat, but PASSION FOR GOLD looks better value. A high-class two-year-old, he won a Group 1 race on testing ground in France in 2009, but wasn't seen at the track again until last month. A winner of a Listed event at Goodwood when stepped up to today's trip, we probably haven't seen the best of him yet and he's preferred to Calvados Blues and Campanologist, who also represent Godolphin. Laaheb should handle any cut and has claims on his best form, while Drunken Sailor won in Listed company at Newbury last month. Harris Tweed is at his best on soft ground and makes more appeal than Gordon Richards' Stakes winner Kings Gambit.
