    Verdict

MITH HILL is much improved and he can take this race at the principal expense of Busker Royal and Moment Present. Good ground seems to suit Ian Williams charge and with a progressive profile on both the flat and over jumps; he ticks plenty of the right boxes. Busker Royal looks to have been campaigned with the summer in mind. The market will tell us how fit he is on reappearance. Moment Present may appreciate this faster surface. He is held in some regard by the trainer and it will be interesting to see if this will be reflected in his price. Kawagino reverts to hurdles from chases. Volador has largely been seen with plenty of give underfoot. He has won on good ground during his days in bumpers. Tannenberg looks a dour stayer and now he gets to take his chances against handicappers rather than novices. Lady Jinks made all to win at Wincanton and has claims off bottomweight. Jockeyship may be a deciding factor and with Trevor Whelan able to claim a valuable five pounds off Mith Hill, he makes plenty of appeal.
