In depth

Verdict

Han Solo Berger won at Newmarket before finding BLUE DE VEGA too good at the same track. The latter can effectively race off a lower mark today if an apprentice’s allowance is taken into account and Bob Cowell’s charge gets the vote. Bay Watch also arrives in fine form having landed a hat-trick with a victory over 6f at Doncaster and drops back down in trip along with Newbury winner Whelans Way while Daschas will be winning again soon off his current mark.
