    Verdict

El Wasmi improved for the fitting of blinkers to get off the mark at Newbury last month but he still has a bit to find to overturn earlier Newmarket running with subsequent Ayr runner-up Rave. It remains to be seen if Dunhoy can replicate his Newmarket running off a 6lb higher mark but Leicester winner Watch Amigo should go close again with John Fahy's claim negating a recent weight rise and the top weight is preferred to the out-of-form Hacienda and Fremont. PRIMAEVAL was a progressive sort in the autumn and made an encouraging reappearance at Newmarket. A subsequent run at HQ was too bad to be true and James Fanshawe's gelding is given another chance in this.
