    Verdict

POOLE HARBOUR was only beaten a nose over this trip on his debut at Newbury in May. That was a very promising first effort by Richard Hannon's Gimcrack entry and he can put the experience to good use here. The market should provide the best guide to the chances of the newcomers but Nawwaar is nicely bred, as is Aussie Guest. Gerfalcon is a half-brother to some speedy types but has already been gelded, while Sequoia may be withdrawn unless ground conditions ease.
