A couple of strong challengers from Ireland could play leading roles in this. Dark Crusader has already made one successful raid when picking up the Melrose at York in August though her compatriot Dabadiyan makes more appeal. His winning run came to end on the Polytrack at Dundalk last time but this longer trip will suit and he's likely to give GREATWOOD plenty to think about. The latter found life tough in Group 2 company before posting a much better effort at Doncaster last time and Luca Cumani's charge will relish this greater test of stamina. Great Hall came up well short in the St Leger last time but this is more his level and he's another to consider with the remainder having a bit more to find in this company.
