Verdict

Boreham Bill won the Lanzarote at Kempton in January but didn’t reproduce the form in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham and is high enough in the weights at present. Some Day Soon has been chasing and preference is for WINNINGSEVERYTHING, who has been lightly raced since completing a double in novice company at the end of 2019 and may have more to offer. Riggs finished second in a Grade 3 at Sandown in March so has obvious claims while Pounding Poet is 2-2 in handicaps and Mackelduff also has scope but Only The Bold ran a shocker when odds-on to complete a double at Southwell in March.
