Verdict

A good start to the day and the vote goes to Pangbourne ahead of Wichita Lineman and Sword Of Damascus. With the Aintree Bumper winner, Pangbourne, the Paul Nicholls-trained Wincanton winner, Silverburn, who is a brother to Denman, and the highly-regarded Jonjo O'Neill-trained runner, Wichita Lineman, a half-brother to Rhinestone Cowboy who impressed in winning his first two starts but was then behind Pangbourne in the Cheltenham Festival bumper, and behind both Pangbourne and Sword Of Damascus at Aintree, in the line-up then this race has a very good feel to it. Finally, Mocho showed promise on his racecourse debut, but this is tougher and the vote, once again, goes to Pangbourne, whose stable is very forward for the time of year.
