Verdict

It's interesting to see Chapoturgeon back in handicap company and Ruby Walsh has chosen the Foxhunter Chase second ahead of Noland, who was pulled up in a Grade 3 handicap at Cheltenham last month when Tullamore Dew beat only one home. Cannington Brook looks to have his fair share of weight but BATTLE GROUP is undoubtedly well treated on his hurdles form and ran his best race so far over the larger obstacles when fourth to Hunt Ball at The Festival, ahead of Ackertac, Carrickboy and Saint Are. This longer trip is very much in his favour and David Pipe's novice can get off the mark today, though it would be no surprise to see Newbury winner Marufo also in contention off a low weight. On Borrowed Wings may be the pick of the remainder.
