Verdict

Silver Adonis produced a shock when landing this a year ago and enters the fray in similarly moderate form so don't dismiss him. Placed horses that day, Moncadou and Van Ness, are engaged again but it will be a surprise if any of the aforementioned are good enough this time. BABY RUN started a short-priced favourite a year ago after his Cheltenham Foxhunter success but got no further than the sixth before unseating his rider. He suffered the same fate at this year's Festival though this time he got rid of young Willie Twiston-Davies at the second last when still in the lead. Whether he would have beaten subsequent winner Zemsky is a matter of opinion but he's worth the risk as his attacking policy will have most of these struggling early on. One who shouldn't be outpaced is Herons Well, who was in touch and going easily enough when unshipping his rider at Cheltenham. Kilty Storm, runner-up in the Foxhunter last year, arrives in very good heart and looks a threat though it's the former Grade 2 winner Turko, who looked a very useful recruit to this sphere at Newbury last month, who will probably provide the most danger under Sam Waley-Cohen.
