Verdict

Former champion stayer Lisnagar Oscar won a Grade 1 here in 2019 but was only eighth in the same race in April, though still finished ahead of If The Cap Fits. BREWIN’UPASTORM (NAP) won the Grade 2 National Spirit at Fontwell at the start of the year and was fifth in the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle in April, despite some indifferent jumping. He has a penalty to carry in this but might be up to the task if fully wound-up. Summerville Boy won this last year but the contest has more strength-in-depth this time around with Wilde About Oscar more than capable on his day and the ever-improving mare Martello Sky bidding for a seventh victory in 10 career starts.
