Brock Lesnar is at it again.

Months after conquering The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania, The Beast Incarnate mauled John Cena at SummerSlam to pluck the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

Lesnar hit Cena with two F5s – one barely 30 seconds into their main-event match in Los Angeles – as well as 16 German Suplexes to become world champion for a fourth time.

Cena fought valiantly, administering an Attitude Adjustment on The Anomaly and locking him in his STF submission move, but it was to no avail as he was vanquished in a tad over 16 minutes.

Roman Reigns’ hunt for world-championship gold ended in failure at Money in the Bank and Battleground, but the ex-Shield star could be in line for another shot after defeating Randy Orton on Sunday evening.

The onetime gridiron star shrugged off the effects of an RKO to kick out of The Viper’s pin attempt and flatten him with a Spear – less than an hour after he had watched his former comrades, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, tear lumps out of each other.

Seth Rollins speak backstage following his Lumberjack match at SummerSlam.

Rollins and Ambrose battled in a Lumberjack Match in The Golden State and the latter got the upper hand in the early going, but his victory charge was scuppered when the newly-corporate Kane prevented him from covering his long-time enemy.

Kane’s intrusion led to the throng of lumberjacks, including Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Cesaro and Rob Van Dam, engaging in an almighty brawl, and while bodies tumbled, Rollins was able to whack Ambrose with his Money in the Bank briefcase and secure the win.

Wriggling

Harper and Rowan participated in the Ambrose-Rollins dust-up, then, but they were prohibited from supporting stablemate Bray Wyatt at ringside in his battle with the veteran Chris Jericho.

Not that it mattered.

The Eater of Worlds gained revenge for his loss to The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla at Battleground by besting the six-time World Champion at SummerSlam, wriggling free of The Walls of Jericho, gathering his bearings after a Codebreaker and whacking his foe with two Sister Abigails.

Dolph Ziggler speaks following his match against The Miz at SummerSlam.

Elsewhere, Dolph Ziggler beat The Miz to win the Intercontinental Championship, Paige smashed AJ Lee with the Ram-Paige DDT to seize the Divas Title for the second time; and Jack Swagger passed out before he could tap out to Rusev’s Accolade.

However, as far as ‘Shocker of the Night’ goes, there was only one candidate: Nikki Bella turning on sister Brie during her long-awaited grudge match with Stephanie McMahon.

Nikki and McMahon’s husband Triple H headed to the ring midway through the contest to give their family members support, but both couldn’t resist getting involved.

Triple H yanked the referee to the floor when Bella seemed set for victory and was met with a baseball slide from his wife’s opponent as a result – and that’s when the WWE Universe was left stunned.

Nikki entered the squared circle but instead of giving McMahon the walloping everyone expected, the Arizona-born Diva attacked her sibling, allowing The Billion Dollar Princess to Pedigree Brie and prevail.
