When Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins go to war at SummerSlam, they won’t be alone.

That’s because Ambrose has decided that he and his rival will meet in a Lumberjack Match in Los Angeles on Sunday night, meaning a host of WWE Superstars will surround the squared circle and ensure the dust-up doesn’t spiral out of control.

The Lunatic Fringe – who jumped Rollins at Battleground before their sanctioned one-on-one bout could begin – earned the right to choose the pair’s SummerSlam stipulation by winning a Beat The Clock Challenge on Raw, and he picked his poison on Smackdown.

Unfortunately for Ambrose, Rollins picked Randy Orton as his former Shield stablemate’s Friday-night opponent – and then intervened when the Cincinnati-born fighter looked likely to secure the win.

Ambrose evaded Orton’s RKO attempt and felled The Viper with Dirty Deeds, but before he could pin his stricken foe, Rollins – an earlier victor over Dolph Ziggler – appeared and teamed up with Orton to batter Ambrose.

Elsewhere, RybAxel was smashed by the gargantuan tandem of Big Show and Mark Henry – The World’s Largest Athlete hitting Curtis Axel with a choke slam to rubberstamp the win – and Rusev gave a reminder of his talents to SummerSlam enemy Jack Swagger by submitting Big E.

Plus, Paige made Natalya tap out to the PTO ahead of her LA showdown with AJ Lee, and Damien Sandow, after sauntering to the ring as Mr Border Control and vowing to banish Sin Cara from America, lost to The International Sensation courtesy of a Swanton Bomb.

SummerSlam will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office and Sky Sports HD Box Office at 1am, on Sunday (Monday) August, with repeat programmes available until the following Saturday.

WWE SummerSlam will be shown at 1am on Sunday, August 17 (Mon) on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 743) and on Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 752).

WWE SummerSlam will be repeated on Sky Sports Box Office (channel 743) BUT NOT Sky Sports HD Box Office (channel 752) until 9pm on Saturday, August 23.

Repeats showing will last three hours, with the final showing BEGINNING at 9pm on Saturday, August 23.
