WWE Raw report: Brie Bella arrested after slapping Daniel Bryan's physical therapist

Stephanie McMahon chuckles as her SummerSlam foe heads to prison

A few weeks ago on Raw, Brie Bella smirked as Stephanie McMahon was arrested.

On Monday’s show, though, the roles were reversed, with McMahon chortling profusely as her SummerSlam opponent, Bella, was handcuffed and led away to a prison cell.

The carnage began when McMahon brought Megan Miller – the physical therapist responsible for helping Bella’s husband, Daniel Bryan, battle back from neck surgery – in front of the Raw audience.

Miller insisted that her relationship with Bryan had strayed from professional to personal with the two having had an illicit affair, a revelation that caused a seething Bella to storm to the ring.

The Diva slapped Miller and administered her other half’s submission manoeuvre, The “Yes!” Lock on McMahon, before WWE officials rushed to break up the onslaught.

Bella thought her attack had flustered McMahon when The Billion Dollar Princess agreed to fight her later in the evening – but that proved to be nothing more than a cunning ruse.

As Bella headed for battle, she was met by two plain-clothed police officers, informed that Miller had pressed charges for the earlier slap, and swiftly placed behind bars for the evening.

What goes around, comes around, eh?

Clocking

With McMahon plotting devious schemes, it was left to Kane – back as The Authority’s corporate crony after removing his mask last week – to make Raw’s matches and he sanctioned two big ‘uns.

WWE: Late Night - Smackdown

The Demon first pitted Roman Reigns in a handicap match against RybAxel, which the Big Dog won via disqualification before hitting both Ryback and Curtis Axel with spears and Superman punches.

And Kane followed that up by placing Reigns’ SummerSlam foe, Randy Orton, in a non-title clash against United States Champion Sheamus, a contest the Viper prevailed in after clocking The Celtic Warrior with a crunching RKO.

Elsewhere, Seth Rollins overcame Rob Van Dam, only to see Dean Ambrose, the man he will meet on Sunday, emerge from one of Hulk Hogan’s birthday presents and launch a vicious assault.

Plus, Jack Swagger saw off Cesaro with the Patriot Lock and AJ Lee battered Eva Marie post-match after Paige’s interference had seen her lose to the redhead courtesy of a roll-up pin.
