The final of the Open 13 will be an all-French affair with Gael Monfils facing Gilles Simon in Marseille on Sunday.
Seventh seed Monfils, a wild card in the tournament, raced through his semi-final against fourth seed Robert Bautista Agut, winning 6-4 6-2 in an hour and four minutes.
Simon, the fifth seed, was taken the distance by Ukraine's Sergiy Stakhovsky, dropping the first set before hitting back for a 3-6 6-3 6-2 victory.
It will be the fifth career meeting between the two Frenchman, with Simon leading 4-1 on the head-to-head record.
